An Evolved and Proprietary Structural Concrete Insulated Panel (SCIP) Building System

USS-PANEL® Technologies advances the traditional SCIP concept through an evolved building system designed to improve constructability, resilience, energy efficiency, and long-term building performance.

The USS-PANEL® system combines an expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulated core with engineered steel reinforcement and concrete, creating a monolithic structural envelope capable of serving residential, commercial, hospitality, institutional, industrial, and mission-critical applications.

Unlike conventional construction methods that rely on multiple independent building components, the USS-PANEL® system integrates structure, insulation, and enclosure into a single high-performance building assembly.

HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS

The USS-PANEL® system begins with a lightweight EPS core reinforced with welded steel mesh and truss connectors.

Once installed and properly braced, concrete is applied to both sides of the panel, creating a reinforced monolithic structure that delivers strength, durability, thermal efficiency, and long-term performance.

The result is a building envelope engineered to perform as a unified structural system rather than a collection of independent components.

ENGINEERED FOR PERFORMANCE

The USS-PANEL® system has been utilized in projects requiring:

  • Energy Efficiency
  • Structural Strength
  • Hurricane Resistance
  • Seismic Resistance
  • Fire Resistance
  • Acoustic Performance
  • Reduced Maintenance
  • Long-Term Asset Durability
  • Resilience & Disaster Resistance
  • Sustainability & Resource Efficiency
  •  Long-Term Asset Durability

Its monolithic design provides owners, developers, and project teams with a building solution focused on resilience, sustainability, lifecycle performance, and long-term asset value rather than simply initial construction cost.

FROM PANEL TO MONOLITHIC STRUCTURE

From initial panel installation through completed construction, the USS-PANEL® system transforms into a reinforced monolithic building envelope designed to meet the demands of modern construction.

The result is a resilient, energy-efficient, and durable monolithic building system engineered to support long-term asset performance, reduced lifecycle costs, and greater owner value.
